for TEDxHopeCollege 2026!
But before you submit your idea, here are some things you should know and keep in mind

TEDx talk guidelines & suggestions

Content Guidelines (PLEASE READ):

All talks must be aligned with the TEDx Content Guidelines. These guidelines include the following, and can be viewed in further detail in this document if you have questions or are concerned your talk may fall into one of these categories.

  • No Commercial Agendas

  • No Political Agendas or Inflammatory Rhetoric

  • No Religious Agendas

  • No Bad Science

Structure of the Talk

Time: Keep in mind that your talk cannot be longer than 12 minutes, so shoot for 8 - 10. This will help keep the audience more engaged with your talk and remember the incredible points of your talk.

Storytelling: A clear, well thought out, personal story is great way to keep the audience engaged throughout your talk.

Performances: TEDxHopeCollege is not a stage to show off your talents, but if you feel that a musical/artistic performance would strengthen and compliment your talk then please feel free to discuss options with the exec team.
